Difference Between Remy and Non-Remy Hair

Remy Hair Extensions Glamcheck hair

Remy Hair is collected directly from the head of a donor.
Non-Remy Hair may not be acquired directly from a donor and rather collected from the floor of salons or temples.

Remy aligns all the hair strands in the same direction as it grows in its natural state, from hair root/base to the tip. It has unidirectional alignment which means all the hair face in the same direction.
Non-Remy Hair strands are more multi-directional where the roots and tips of the individual strands are mixed up; as a result they are not aligned in the same direction.

The cuticles of Remy Hair are intact.
The cuticles of Non-Remy Hair may be stripped and hence not kept intact.

Remy Hair is less prone to tangling as the cuticles are aligned in the same direction. However, it does tangle though the chances are lesser. Hair that doesn’t tangle at all has synthetic components, and is not real human hair.
Non-Remy Hair tangles more because the cuticles are not aligned in the same direction.

Glamcheck Clip In Human Hair Extensions are made of 100% Virgin Indian Remy Human hair.
